Description: Included is biographical material, correspondence, photographs, speeches given by Fryklund, blueprints and designs, miscellaneous course materials, student papers, and Fryklund's writings and publications (largely textbooks). The bulk of the collection includes student papers which primarily consist of job analyses and instructional units of various trades and subjects within industrial arts and home economics, and Fryklynd's writings and publications in the areas of industrial arts and industrial education. Included is an illustrated lecture on logging, 1916?, developed by Fryklund containing photographs of a logging operation in Cloquet, Minnesota and text describing early methods of logging. Description: Correspondence is minimal relating to publishing and publishers, personal matters, and miscellaneous subjects. The blueprints include various designs by Fryklund and student machine drawing project designs. Also included are materials relating to Fryklund's books, conferences and leaders in the industrial arts field, research methods, Rotary Club, and a cartoon series about Stout Institute, "Smorgy", by Kurt Carlson. No lecture notes are found in the collection and there are few other course materials aside from student papers.
